Full electrical scope for residential renovations and new builds — rough-in through to fit-off and council sign-off.
Renovations and new builds need an electrician who turns up on schedule, works cleanly around other trades, and gets the paperwork right at the end. That's the whole job, not just the wiring.
We run the full electrical scope — first fix rough-in, switchboard upgrades, fit-off, metering, and the council inspection — so you deal with one contractor from start to finish, not a string of call-backs.
Common renovation and new build electrical work we handle across eastern Melbourne.
First fix wiring for new circuits, power points, and lighting before walls and ceilings close up.
Switches, outlets, downlights, and fixtures installed, connected, and tested once the build is lined.
Upgraded switchboards to handle the extra circuits and meet current safety standards.
New metering and connection to mains, coordinated directly with the distributor.
Certificate of electrical safety prepared and the council sign-off handled as part of the job.
We fit in with the build schedule and work cleanly alongside other trades on-site.
Renovation and new build scope varies enormously from job to job, so we don't quote a ballpark figure — we assess your plans or site and give you a proper written quote up front. For smaller ad-hoc jobs we charge a $115 call-out fee (ex GST) and $150/hr labour (ex GST).
All prices are exclusive of GST. GST is added on the invoice.

Yes. Most renovations and new builds need a switchboard upgrade to meet current safety standards and handle the extra circuits — we quote this as part of the overall job.
We do. We handle the certificate of electrical safety, metering, and liaise with the distributor and council so the connection is signed off correctly.
It depends on the size of the job and scope of work — every renovation and new build is different. We'll assess the plans or the site and give you a written quote before work starts, so there are no surprises.
